Alphabetix is proud to announce the launch of the Gresham Barlow Education Foundation website!
About GBEF
The Gresham Barlow Education Foundation (GBEF) is a legally designated 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the aim to bring great things to the classroom.
For the past sixteen years, GBEF has supported educational excellence in the district by funding programs and resources not included in the district’s lean operating budget.
GBEF works to ensure that students, teachers, the school district, and the greater Gresham community is prepared and aware of constantly changing priorities and needs of our education system.
GBEF Website Features
This new rendition of the website stems from a highly modified version of WordPress, which is a great content management system though it regularly has a reputation for being just a blogging platform. Because of this, both pages and post are easily added and edited via an easily navigable backend.
Spam is easily controlled by virtue of Akismet, a web service created to combat comment spam. Likewise, potential donors and contributors can easily donate to the foundation, and keep current with foundation events.
Educators will likewise feel right at home on the website, since they can easily apply for yearly grants to help bolster their educational campaigns. The custom grant submission tool we created for GBEF will undoubtedly help their grant submission efforts for many years to come.
Social media is definitely a popular internet marketing tool nowadays, and that is why Alphabetix embedded GBEF’s Facebook feed into the footer of their website, so visitors to the website can have a real time update to GBEF’s activities and events.
Alphabetix is proud to have the Gresham Barlow Education Foudation as a client, and encourage our readers to visit their website and learn more about how you can help education programs in their school district.
