Alphabetix is proud to announce that we recently won a Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce award for Home-Based Business of the Year. We were so honored to be nominated by our peers.
Here’s what was said about us in the program flyer:
Kelly and Laura started Alphabetix as a way to express their creative talents and share them with others. They are passionate about creating beautiful websites that are user-friendly, easy to find, and an expression of the people they are created for. They love helping people develop their businesses by creating websites utilizing the latest web standards and clean language, showing them about social media and marketing, and developing their brand on the web.
Kelly and Laura both enjoy expressing themselves creatively, getting involved in local issues, and sharing the knowledge they’ve acquired with other people. Both are avid readers. While Kelly enjoys creative writing and woodworking, Laura loves crafting, especially sewing. When they aren’t smothering their daughter Hannah with kisses, they enjoy spending time outdoors, whether its working in the garden or hiking around the Mt. Hood area.
Though they’ve lived up and down the west coast, they enjoy being part of the Sandy business community because they want to grow the community and be part of shaping what Sandy will be in the future. They have a long term investment in making Sandy the best place it can be because they want to raise their family here. They believe they were nominated because they have a commitment to being involved in local issues, are professional, and love what they do. Their core belief is that giving customers what they want makes them advocates of their business.

We’d like to congratulate the winners in the other categories:
