Alphabetix is proud to announce the relaunch the cockcrow press website, just in time for the new year.

cockcrow press (all lowercase) is an independent publisher of poetry, fiction, and lifestyle books, that has been dormant for the last few years due to funding woes, but now is re-emerging in 2010 to launch a new website with an online bookshop.

cockcrow press is a small independent press that strives to give a voice to emerging and established writers. Their primary publishing focus is poetry. They publish the the Oregon Literary Arts Directory, the Starving Artist Chapbook series, and the poetry journal Pregnant Moon Review.

The website was built from scratch and includes clean web code that loads super fast in every internet browser and includes SEO friendly pages. The website includes minimalistic design aesthetic, that has a sky blue color to contrast the previous version of the website that was orange.

The content management system (CMS) that is used on the website is easy to update. Also, the website includes a custom submission form that allows potential authors submit their via the internet, saving both the press and the author money and time.
